Aleks Malejs has earned a BFA in Acting from The University of Montana and an MFA in Acting from The New School for Drama in New York City. She spent a decade in NYC pursing her career and expanding her education in the craft. She has worked on stage and in the classroom with some of the finest mentors the industry has to offer. Aleks has gone on two National tours as an actor with the Montana Repertory Theatre in 1999 and 2011. Since her arrival in Buffalo in the Spring of 2013, Aleks has been featured in many productions. In 2017, she appeared on the Kavinoky stage in a solo performance as The Pilot in Grounded, which earned her the Artie Award for Outstanding Actress in a Play. Aleks is an adjunct at NCCC and has had opportunities to teach with Shakespeare in Delaware Park, Theatre of Youth, Aurora Waldorf School, Young Audiences Western New York and the Inclusive Theater of WNY. She is also the acting Education Coordinator at Irish Classical Theatre Company.
