Casting Hall Productions

As Buffalo State's student operated and funded theater production company and co-producer for the Theater Department’s season, Casting Hall Productions provides students with the opportunity for practical experience in all aspects of theater production, including publicity, costume and set construction, technical staffing, production management and budget management.

All Buffalo State students are welcome! General membership meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month, during Bengal Pause (12:15 - 1:30 p.m).

All meetings are held in the Flexible Theatre, Savage Theater and Communication Building.

Casting Hall Executive Board

Zoe Gonez

Zoe Goñez, President

Zoe (she/her) is currently a senior theater major and a television and film arts minor at Buffalo State University. She is an actor, stage manager, and soon to be assistant director on this fall's production of On The Verge. Other productions she’s been involved in include Medea (Medea), Pippin (Assistant Stage Manager), The Wizard of Oz (Stage Manager), and Othello (Bianca). Zoe is looking forward to this upcoming season of shows and working alongside her friends before she graduates.

Neshiah Alston, Secretary

Neshiah Alston is a sophomore with a major in journalism and minor in theater. She is from Buffalo, NY, where she has been performing all her life, getting her start as a child in her grandmother's plays. Her most recent performance was in the spring 2023 play Medea at Buffalo State. She played the Second Woman of Corinth. Neshiah is the secretary of Casting Hall, and is so thrilled to be on this amazing executive board. Casting Hall has been such a support system throughout her first year of college and has helped guide her through many challenges. Her goals include helping introduce newcomers to Casting Hall and bringing new, creative ideas to increase student interest in Casting Hall across campus. 


Stepheney Warnstadt, Audience Services Manager

Stepheney Warnstadt (she/they) is a sophomore with a major in anthropology and a minor in theater. They are from Albany, NY and have been performing since the 5th grade; theater has always been a large part of her life and identity. Stepheney is the audience services manager of Casting Hall, she hopes to learn new things, build new connections, and is looking forward to being involved in this community. 

Armando Giangreco-Marotta

Armando Giangreco-Marotta, Marketing Manager

Armando is a junior in the arts and letters major focusing on media productions and theater. All of his theater work is done behind the scenes. He was recently the light board operator for Buffalo State's Production of Pippin. Armando can also be seen at Lancaster Opera House running the light board for their shows. This past summer he helped out on the set construction for Shakespeare in Delaware Park. Armando is also a member of 91.3FM WBNY radio station.

Jaden Browne

Jaden Browne, Organization Representative

Jaden Browne is a junior theater major who is graduating a year early. She has been doing musical theater since the 9th grade and theater since her sophomore year of college. Her latest performance was Buffalo State's production of Medea. She played the role of the Third Woman of Corinth. Her newest project is working on Buffalo State's production of On The Verge as one of the leading characters, Alex. Jaden is the organization representative for Casting Hall and is so thrilled to be a part of this community and help those who need it.
