Erica S. Fire, B.A.

Erica Fire holds a BA in Costume Design and Physics from Bennington College.  She has worked in costume shops around the country, most recently at The Glimmerglass Festival in Cooperstown, NY, the Shakespeare Theater Company in Washington D.C. and Buffalo’s own Studio Arena Theatre right up to its closing.

Ms. Fire began working at the Glimmerglass Festival in the late 90s and continues as the longest running member of the costume shop there.  At Glimmerglass she has had the privilege of working with Tony Award winning costume designers and highly skilled technicians from around the country.  She has brought that professional experience back to Buffalo State where she serves as the Costume Director for the theater and dance programs.
